Healthy Eating Pyramid
You all need to take a look at this food guide pyramid published by Harvard. It is not funded by the milk and meat industries, unlike the USDA's pyramid. So, it's actually backed by facts and studies and not money. Go figure.

You can go to the above link to download the full pdf file where it mentions to eat sparingly the following: red meat and butter, refined grains: white rice, bread, and potatoes as well as sugary drinks and sweets and salt. It also talks about including healthy fats and oils and transfat free margarine. I love this chart!
