Veggie Burgers

14.5 oz can red kidney beans
1 red onion
2 T plain flour
1 1/2 T rosemary
1 1/2 T oregano
2 t chili garlic sauce (chili powder and minced garlic clove)
1 egg beaten (healthier version = use 1/4 c. egg substitute product)
1/4 c bread crumbs
4 T oil (oil or other plant source oil)
+ buns for the burgers! - whole wheat are the best!

Mash the beans, and add flour, herbs, chili/garlic sauce, egg, and 1/2 the bread crumbs. Mix all.
Shape into patties (4-6) and lightly coat in remaining bread crumbs. Preheat and spray a skillet with olive oil spray or pam spray and cook patties. Place on buns with yummy condiments and veggies..Enjoy!
